A NJ State Trooper was found fatally shot in his patrol car earlier this morning on the Garden State Parkway. NJ.com reports, "an officer came upon a trooper car at about 7:30 a.m. on the exit ramp from the parkway to Route 34 south [near Wall Township]. A trooper was found unresponsive in the car, officials said." The State Police said, "Some irresponsible news outlets have published unconfirmed reports of manhunts and gunfights. This information is not correct. At this point, we are not looking for any additional vehicles or suspects in connection with the investigation." CBS 2 sources say it may have been a suicide.
