A man attempting to sell his iPad to a Craigslist buyer in the tony New Jersey town of Montclair wound up getting robbed and stabbed instead.
According to CBS New York, the victim arrived to the parking lot of a TD Bank in hopes of meeting up with a woman interested in buying his iPad, which he'd listed for sale, along with a camera, on Craigslist. The buyer, instead of handing over cash for the goods, allegedly grabbed the items and stabbed the victim in the shoulder and leg.
The victim drove himself to the hospital and was treated for his injuries. When police arrived at the scene, they traced drops of blood to a nearby dumpster, where they spent several hours parsing its contents for evidence. According to Patch, police apprehended 20-year-old Naji Love, who was being treated at a local hospital for a hand wound when police found her.
She has been charged with aggravated assault, weapons offenses and theft.
