Bronx resident Frank Morocho was charged with driving while intoxicated, assault by auto and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries after ramming his car through nine pedestrians after a soccer game at the Meadowlands last night. The group was crossing Rt. 120 at around midnight last night when the 21-year-old sped through them in his 2006 Acura, and kept going.

All nine, including one 21-month-old infant, were brought to local hospitals with serious injuries, and one victim is currently suffering from critical head trauma. Morocho was later apprehended by police and is being held on $50,000 bail. Last night's soccer exhibition game pitted Mexico v. Ecuador, and filled all 77,507 available seats in the new stadium, but ended in a scoreless tie.
