2008_08_stabber1.jpgPolice are looking for a man suspected of brutally stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death in College Point. 21-year-old Ebony Garcia was found in a pool of blood outside her cousin's apartment with multiple knife wounds to the torso. Garcia, a mother of a 2-year-old girl, had last been seen leaving a club after bumping into Segundo Penafiel, an ex-boyfriend whom she had recently filed a restraining order against due to his abusive history with her. The NY Post paints a picture reminiscent of Kitty Genovese, saying that "one neighbor said she heard Garcia screaming for 35 minutes but ignored the cries because she thought the victim was drunk."
