Just days after a man was caught on surveillance camera kicking a dog in an elevator in the General Grant Houses, police uncovered footage of another woman abusing a pooch inside the Morningside Heights housing project. Surveillance video shows 31-year-old Tiara Davis kicking her 9-pound Pomeranian, named Sparky, and yanking on its leash until it went unconscious in a building elevator, according to the Daily News.

Here's the video:

Davis — a vocational counselor for ex-offenders — told the tabloid she wasn't trying to hurt the dog, but punish it for "relieving itself too soon." She said: "I kept telling him, 'Sparky! Wait! Wait!' ... I became a little frustrated. It was never my intention to hurt him." The dog is currently recovering at an ASPCA hospital. Earlier this month, 21-year-old Chris Grant was charged with torturing and injuring an animal and resisting arrest after he was caught on tape kicking a Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix in a building elevator.
