Gothamist's Ben Muessig is currently cooling his heels on the F train at Smith & Ninth Street; the conductor says they're holding the F at all of the stations "for a while." And this was posted to the MTA site about ten minutes ago: "Due to switch problems at the West 4th Street-Washington Square Station, Queens-bound F and V trains are running express from the Broadway-Lafayette Station to the West 4th Street-Washington Square Station."
