A man was stabbed aboard a PATH train in Manhattan during rush hour last night.
Police say the incident happened around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday on a southbound PATH train as it approached 23rd Street. The suspect plunged a knife into the torso of the 38-year-old victim on the crowded train, then fled when it got to the station.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, and is expected to survive. He told police he had no idea who his attacker was. According to CBS, the suspect is described as an Hispanic male with a goatee, a black knit hat, dark pants and a beige coat.
Earlier this month, a man slashed three people in the face with a boxcutter around Union Square subway area.
