There's no kind of bet like a drunken bet.

A NJ man was found injured at the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack, NY yesterday—and it turns out he jumped from the second floor. Clarkstown police Sgt. Glenn Cumming told WCBS 880, "He informed our officers that he, on a bet from a friend, had jumped off the second floor, which is about 20 feet."

Nicholas Diblasi was discovered "sitting on the floor, conscious, dazed and seemingly intoxicated" yesterday before 12:30 p.m. Cummings further explained he "jumped over the railing on the second floor ... and that he had done so on a dare from his friend, who doubted his resolve to do it."

Diblasi, who injured his left leg, was arrested for second-degree reckless endangerment because, Cummings said, "This all took place in a public facility, and obviously created alarm and also endangered the pedestrians who were walking by when he jumped off the second floor."

No word on whether the friend paid up the bet.
