A Harlem man ran through JFK airport earlier today shouting, "I'm Pablo, I will be famous!" The gambit worked, sort of, but "Pablo's" brief rush of fame has been dulled by his subsequent arrest.

'Pablo,' whose real name is Claudio Duran, was arrested and charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal trespass and trespass. The 20-year-old Harlem resident allegedly stole a white 2014 Isuzu Rollo Mio Artisan Bakery truck earlier Friday morning and ditched it outside Terminal 8 before running past a TSA checkpoint and into the departures area while screaming his declaration of fame.

According to the Post, Duran made it pretty far into the airport before being stopped, even infiltrating "a lengthy underground passageway that extends under the tarmac to the second half of Terminal 8." As he ran toward a docked plane neat Gate 37, he was taken down by pilot Samuel B. Strausser, who put him in a makeshift wrestling hold, with his arm behind his back, until Port Authority police arrived.

Altogether, Duran made it at least a quarter-mile past security before being stopped. Officers later determined that he was emotionally disturbed.
