The fallout from the many sexual harassment claims coming out of Fox News continued today, with Public Advocate Letitia James's announcing a rally outside the company's headquarters in which she'll call for an investigation into sexual harassment claims against Bill O'Reilly and denounce Fox News' "culture of sexual assault and racism."

James, along with State Senator Liz Krueger, Assembly Member Carmen de la Rosa, and advocacy groups for women and against sexual violence, will be rallying outside of News Corp headquarters today at 5:30 p.m. James is asking the Securities and Exchange Commission to look into whether or not Fox News misled investors by failing to disclose payments the company had made to women who he allegedly sexually harassed. Former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara was said to be looking into whether or not the company had properly informed its investors before he was fired by the Trump administration.

In addition to asking for an SEC investigation, James is asking the City's Commission on Human Rights to investigate whether the company violated any city laws against employment discrimination, a request that stems from charges that one executive called an employee who had survived breast cancer "boobs girl" and "cancer girl," mocked the way that black people talked and made other racist comments about black people.

And of course, there was the New York Times investigation into Bill O'Reilly's many alleged instances of sexual harassment and the resulting payouts Fox News had to make. While Fox News stood by the primetime talking head after the article, advertisers have fled O'Reilly's show, and he's currently on a vacation from which he may never return, sources tell longtime thorn in Fox News' side Gabriel Sherman.
