In yet another example of how helping your lady friend conceive can go horribly wrong, a New York attorney is suing his sister-in-law for falsely claiming that he sexually assaulted her—although he alleges he was doing her infertile husband a favor.
According to a lawsuit obtained by the Post, 47-year-old Ted McCullough says that his wife's sister, 37-year-old Adrienne Mesko, asked him to inseminate her the old fashioned way during a weekend at his home in Hyde Park, Dutchess County. The complaint describes Mesko as allegedly "pulled her naked legs up in a crab-like position to increase the chances of conception. She then stated to him, ‘Thank you, I know you are doing me a favor.’ ”
McCullough, a parter at McCullough, Ginsberg, Montano & Partners, also claims in his suit that Mesko has "mental disorders," that she mixed fertility drugs with “regular doses of alcohol,” and that she can only hold “low-paying" jobs despite having a bachelor's degree.
Mesko told the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office that McCullough sexually assaulted her. No arrests have been made, but Captain John Watterson told the paper that “there is an active police investigation into the matter."
McCullough, a former Marine, is asking for $7 million, and blames Mesko's allegations for his wife, Deirdre Chiaramonte, filing for divorce. The couple has two children.
“Adrienne has never lied to me,” Gregory Chiaramonte, the sister's father, told the paper. “That is unbelievable, his allegation that she asked him to have sex so she could have a baby.”
