Last night, three Cunard cruise liners left our ports (the Queen Mary 2, the Queen Victoria and the Queen Elizabeth) and to celebrate their simultaneous departure—called a tandem crossing— a fireworks show was held above the Statue of Liberty. Despite the cold, it seems quite a few people came out to get a glimpse. Here are some of their photos—enjoy the fun of looking at winter fireworks without the mind-numbing cold that comes from standing next to a large body of water in the winter!
