- Cleveland 119 Knicks 105: If you were looking for a game where the Knicks should have beaten a quality opponent, this was it. New York battled Cleveland almost evenly over three quarters and although they ended up out-shooting the Cavs, they did not walk away with the win.
That was because the best player on the floor took over the game. LeBron ended up with 50 points and 10 rebounds, scoring almost at will when he wanted to. It’s a good thing the Knicks don’t want a player like that.
- Memphis 100 Nets 93: The Grizzles broke a nine-game losing streak thanks to 25 points from Hakim Warrick and 22 points from Mike Miller. Devin Harris had 20 points and 8 assists, but it wasn’t enough as New Jersey lost their third-straight.
- Alou has a hernia: Injuries keep striking the Mets who learned on Wednesday that Moises Alou will miss 4-6 weeks with a hernia. With rehab that probably means the Mets can only hope he will return at the start of May, hopefully this is the last injury they suffer this spring.
- Bobby gets some great news: Bobby Murcer is one of the true gentlemen of baseball and the news that his latest biopsy showed him to be cancer free is great.
