• Knicks 120 Milwaukee 112: If New York is going to make the playoffs, they need to beat the teams just above them in the standings, they did that Tuesday night. They did not take care of the ball very well, but Larry Hughes and Nate Robinson had huge games. Hughes scored 39, including a clutch three-pointer with just over a minute left and Robinson added 32. David “double-double” Lee had 19 points and 18 rebounds and Al Harrington added 18.
  • Devils 3 Calgary 2: Martin Brodeur is getting closer to Patrick Roy for the wins record and he needed a big night to pull within two. Brodeur made 35 saves and the Devils came from behind thanks to goals from Langenbrunner, Rolston and Parise.
  • Toronto 3 Islanders 2 OT: As well as they have been playing lately, this was a step back. Toronto isn’t that good, but they eeked out a win Tuesday. They scored in the third to tie things up and then in OT to win the game.
  • At The Big East Tournament: DePaul picked a great time to get their first Big East win. St. John’s popped Georgetown’s bubble. Notre Dame kept their hopes alive and Seton Hall moved closer to a NIT spot.
