- Knicks 132 Minnesota 105: Nothing beats having the Timberwolves come to town when you need a win. Somewhat surprisingly, the Knicks took advantage of it and blew the doors off Minnesota. As usual, David Lee had another double-double while Al Harrington added 26 points off the bench.
- Washington 7 Islanders 2: The Caps jumped out to four goals in the first and never looked back. New York never competed and Dwayne Roloson had a game to forget, getting lifted after allowing four goals in twelve shots.
- Ottawa 3 New Jersey 0: Martin Brodeur didn’t have it and he was lifted after two periods and three goals. It didn’t matter as the Devils couldn’t get back into the game, despite outshooting Ottawa 24-18.
