Credit Henrik Lundqvist with the Rangers first win of the year, a 4-0 victory in Vancouver. Lundqvist was dominant, stopping 40 shots and keeping New York in the game while they were out-shot 28-9 through the first two periods. The offense finally woke up in the third with Mike Rupp scoring his first goal as a Ranger two minutes in. Ryan McDonagh, Brian Boyle and Marian Gaborik followed with goals and New York has its first win of the season.
