The Post reports that a man, previously convicted for "fatally shooting his wife's former lover...now faces charges of slashing a homeless man who remarked upon his girlfriend's appearance." Craig Hutter and his girlfriend were on Sixth Avenue at 14th Street in Manhattan at 8:30 p.m. last Saturday when homeless Amadou Sarre said something. And it was enough for Hutter to "[pull] out a sharp object and [slash] Sarre in a frenzy." Sarre got 20 stitches; Hutter, who fled but later turned himself in, was charged with first-degree assault and is out on $50,000 bail.
