This is the game to stop the doubters. If the Jets can go into San Diego and take down the Chargers in Sunday's AFC divisional playof they have to be acknowledged as a true force. Right now, they're only a cute story. Sure, they have beaten the Colts when they lay down, and they have punished Cincinnati two straight weeks. But now they draw the Chargers, who have won 11 straight games and have the best passing attack in football.

The Jets boast an excellent pass defense and a strong ground game. The Chargers boast a great pass offense and a weak ground game. Whichever team has its strengths make a bigger impact on the game will win. Darrelle Revis will shut down Vincent Jackson. That is all but a certainty. But while covering Jackson one-on-one, that will allow the Jets to use more personnel on the other half of the field, where Malcolm Floyd and all-pro tight end Antonio Gates hang out. If those guys get open, the Jets will be in trouble.

On offense, the Jets will continue to pound the ball. When he holds onto the ball, Shonn Greene has been better than Thomas Jones of late. Mark Sanchez played a near-flawless game on Saturday against the Bengals, but he wasn't asked to do too much and only threw 15 passes. If he can play that well again, the Jets have a great shot. They're playing with house money right now, and they can turn a good season into a great one with a win.
