Last week, rumors ran wild that noted bikini beach frolicker Kim Kardashian was trying to arrange a date with Knicks star Jeremy Lin. While the world feared for Lin's precious untainted soul, her publicity team soon squashed those reports (which they probably planted in the first place). But it's still refreshing to know that Lin wouldn't have been into it anyway: "Stuff about me dating Kim Kardashian, I mean, I have no idea where that came from and all these rumors...I don’t think I’m that type,” he told Good Morning America about their non-union.

After all, Lin has already made clear what qualities interest him in a possible girlfriend: "First she would really love God and be a faithful Christian, and then after that, I think, a desire to serve other people, to help with the underprivileged...someone that’s definitely chill, low key, low maintenance." So we're happy that Lin hasn't been hypnotized by any of Kardashian's more earthly attributes—and we're especially happy that he seems to be taking the advice of Luther Campbell, the former 2 Live Crew member: "My advice to Lin: Beware the power of the coochie."

That's advice that Kris Humphries probably wishes someone had told him. The former Mr. Kim Kardashian has been routinely booed by basketball fans all season since his 72-day marriage to Kardashian flamed out in an epic, made-for-reality TV manner. But you'll never guess who has been nice to Humphries: "[Lin] just said, 'Hey, I don't know why they boo you, but I think it's crap, and you're playing really well.' That was nice of him to say. He's a really nice guy...It's nice to see great things happen for nice people," Humphries said on ESPN radio yesterday.
