Last weekend, makeup-less clown James Dolan took a break from acting as the fedora-wearing face of shitty blues band JD and the Straight Shot to yell at a longtime Knicks fan. Yesterday, Dolan wouldn't apologize or say sorry for telling 73-year-old Irving Bierman to go f*&# himself—but he was disappointed in himself for engaging with someone so clearly below him. This is the true story... of one billionaire troll... who inherited his daddy's basketball organization...and worked hard to create the laughingstock of the NBA... to find out what happens... when trolls stop being polite... and start getting real.

"I got sent a bad, hateful email," Dolan told reporters Friday at a charity event in Manhattan according to ESPN. "I get emails all the time, as I am sure you understand, and I generally don't respond to the bad ones. This time, it just caught me at the wrong moment and I responded. Sort of tit for tat. And I knew I shouldn't have done that and I did it anyway because it made me angry. Because it was a personal, hateful attack."

To recap: Bierman, whose email correspondence with Dolan was leaked to Deadspin and later pooh-pooh'd by the league, wrote a forceful but not particularly nasty email to Dolan complaining about him

At one stage I thought that you did a wonderful thing when you acquired EVERYTHING from your dad. However, since then it has been ALL DOWN HILL. Your working with Isaiah Thomas & everything else regarding the Knicks. Bringing on Phil Jackson was a positive beginning, but lowballing Steve Kerr was a DISGRACE to the knicks. The bottom line is that you merely continued to interfere with the franchise. As a knicks fan for in excess of 60 years, I am utterly embarrassed by your dealings with the Knicks. Sell them so their fans can at least look forward to growing them in a positive direction Obviously, money IS NOT THE ONLY THING. You have done a lot of utterly STUPID business things with the franchise. Please NO MORE.

Dolan, who has about $1.5 billion ways of insulating himself from being hurt by mean critics and fans, apparently isn't aware of how loathed he is around NYC. Although we have said much meaner things about Dolan than anything in Bierman's letter, Dolan was tickled enough to respond to him:

Mr Bierman

You are a sad person. Why would anybody write such a hateful letter. I am.just guessing but ill bet your life is a mess and you are a hateful mess. What have you done that anyone would consider positive or nice. I am betting nothing. In fact ill bet you are negative force in everyone who comes in contact with you. You most likely have made your family miserable. Alcoholic maybe. I just celebrated my 21 year anniversary of sobriety. You should try it. Maybe it will help you become a person that folks would like to have around. In the mean while start rooting.for the Nets because the Knicks dont want you.

Respectfully
James Dolan

There is one silver-lining: Dolan promised to respond to more emails, as long as people are nice in how they express their deep wells of resentment and rage toward him. "I actually got a whole bunch of emails that were very, very nice," the delusional megalomaniac said. "I didn’t get all bad emails. More than I can respond to right now. If you have written to me a nice email, an encouraging one, or I’m unhappy about losing, you’re actually going to hear back from me. If you wrote one of those other kind of emails, you’re not going to hear back from me. For those who wrote those, thanks for being so nice."

Dolan's email, according to the Deadspin article, is [email protected]. We encourage you to respectfully write him, and tell him in very nice terms how much of a dick he is. Or you could just send him this post!
