Hurricane fatigue sets in at Gothamist Weather. Hurricane Ivan is extremely intense and destroying everything in its path. It is about to pass over western Cuba and enter the Gulf of Mexico, whereupon it looks to turn north and gradually weaken. Watch out Pensacola!
Around here it should cloud up a bit tomorrow, and there's a slight chance of showers for Wednesday, but the weather should be reasonable through Thursday. The forecast for later in the week on through the last summer weekend looks iffy. Moisture from Ivan the Terrible, Gothamist is not the first to use that lame nickname, is complicating the forecast. Enjoy the next few days as our chances for warm weather are rapidly diminishing as we head into fall.
