On Sunday night, a 23-year-old woman was killed during a mugging in Queens. Police said that the suspects fatally shot Rabia Mohammed because she didn't want to give up her purse and now her husband says she was probably trying to save her cellphone, "She was very sentimental. She really cherished our text messages. She has four cellphones that are full. When she doesn't have any memory left, she gets a new phone."

Grieving widower Shazam Khan also told the Post, "Nothing in the bag was so valuable -- she had a phone, an iPod and maybe $20." However, Khan asked the Daily News that he not be identified because he was worried the suspects would find him, "The last thing we want is the guy showing up at the house." Khan also told the News that "he's leaning on his faith in Allah and 'our legal system' to deal with losing his wife," saying, "There's no preparing for this. We hope that this thing will be rectified. It's one of those things that you can't prepare for ... God knows what he is doing."

A resident in the neighborhood where the fatal shooting took place believes the group could have been the same men who robbed him recently.
