Now that Hillary Clinton's out of the hospital following her blood clot scare, she's already back to work, if not quite back to Washington. The State Department says the Secretary of State has been holding conference calls, speaking with aides and overseeing paperwork during the very short time she's been home recuperating in Chappaqua.
She plans on returning to work next week, health permitting, which means it won't be long until we can expect critics to once again start hounding her about more important things, like Benghazi and the state of her hair.
And though we've been pretty focused on Clinton health issues of late, we might soon be captivated by a completely different kind of Hillary-centric drama. There's apparently a Hillary Clinton rom-com (yes, a romantic comedy) in the works. Tentatively titled Rodham, the screenplay, which currently ranks high on the popular Hollywood Black List [pdf], focuses on a young D.C. lawyer who falls in love with a saxophone-playing future President. So far, the production company behind Twilight is rumored to be attached, so we can all look forward to the star casting of Sparkle-Vamp Bill and, if we're lucky, werewolf Gennifer Flowers.
