Antoine Dodson, better known as the voice behind the Bed Intruder song (video below), has reportedly been arrested in Alabama for marijuana possession. TMZ reports that he was arrested early this morning on the misdemeanor charge, and was later hit with other misdemeanor charges for failing to appear on a traffic charge, failing to have insurance, and speeding. He has since been released.
Dodson gained YouTube notoriety after a clip of him having harsh words for his sister's attempted attacker made the internet rounds. The clip inspired an autotuned song now available on iTunes, halloween costumes, and eventually landed Dodson with his own reality show pilot. Proceeds from the iTunes song went to Dodson and his family, which they used to buy a house. Dodson also planned to open up his own hair salon. The arrest also introduces the terrifying reality that YouTube sensations getting arrested is now news. We're counting the days until Rebecca Black gets pulled over for disobeying seatbelt laws.
