Police are, once again, on the lookout for an alleged subway pervert. In particular they are looking for the above man, who they say flashed his junk at a 20-year-old woman on the R train late last Thursday night.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on a Manhattan-bound R train leaving the Steinway Street station in Queens. The man in question—described as being Hispanic, approximately 35-years-old with fair skin and a balding head—sat down across from the victim and exposed himself. She snapped a picture of the offender and passed it onto the police. And now it is your turn to help. Anyone with information regarding the identity and or whereabouts of the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

Sadly, perverts flashing and groping on the subway are a fact of life here, but there are things you can do if you are a victim. To start, the MTA recommends promptly contacting an MTA employee or police officer (though that doesn't always work) but clearly taking a picture with your cameraphone is a good step, too.
