A hoodie-clad gunman jumped out from behind a parked car and opened fire on a group of teenagers in Queens in an early-morning attack that left one dead and a suspect on the loose.

Four teenagers were walking back from a party at around 4 a.m. this morning near the intersection of 113th Ave and 157th St in Jamaica when a gunman with a .40-caliber gun started shooting, said witnesses. "It was a major shootout," said a neighbor who was on her porch during the attack. Another nearby resident said, "I heard a lot of noises, guys yelling on the street. There was talking then yelling then a few minutes after that: 'Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!'" and hinted that the violence may have been gang-related.

Terrell Fountain, 18, was fatally injured, and the other three teens were in stable condition at Jamaica Hospital. The incident took place in the borough's 113th Precinct, which has seen its fair share of violence in the past year. So far, no arrests have been made, and police have not released information on a possible motive or publicly identified a suspect.
