After Knicks forward Wilson Chandler was arrested for pot possession while driving in Queens, the Daily News asked his 76-year-old grandmother for a comment—and they sure got one: "I don't know about pot in his car. I ain't heard nothing from him yet. I didn't raise him to smoke pot." Chandler was pulled over because his headlights weren't on at 11:30 p.m. The car "smelled more like a Grateful Dead concert than a Knick game" and he and passenger Lamonte Yarbrough admitted to smoking pot. Police found bags of marijuana in the car's center console and in the trunk. The pair are due in court July 1; the Knicks said, "We have spoken to Wilson regarding last night’s incident and will not be commenting at this time."
