Former President George W. Bush told the Economic Club of Grand Rapids, Michigan yesterday, "Yeah, we waterboarded Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. I'd do it again to save lives." The Al Qaeda operative may be tried in New York City on terror charges... or the Obama Administration might choose a military tribunal.

Bush also touched upon the Iraq war in his speech, saying taking out Saddam Hussein "was the right thing to do and the world is a better place without him." As for his thoughts on President Obama, Bush is mum, "You are not going to see me in the public square criticising the president."

In other Bush news, the 43rd President joined Facebook and Twitter. His Facebook profile page has links to pre-order his upcoming memoir and to donate to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund—plus his latest status is a shout-out to wife Laura's memoir, noting it's been" #1 on the 'New York Times' Bestseller List for the third consecutive week." Hey, the liberal media is convenient for bookcounting, we guess.
