General David Petraeus told the AP that he doesn't think Times Square terror suspect Faisal Shahzad was working with anyone: He said "that Shahzad was a 'lone wolf' who was inspired by militants in Pakistan but didn't have direct contact with them. Authorities say Shahzad told investigators he went to a terrorist training camp in Pakistan but have yet to confirm that."
Some sources say that Shahzad claimed he met with top terrorists, while some investigators think there might just be an international link to Shahzad's plans. And Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik told reporters today that while there's no evidence that the Pakistan Taliban is involved, "All those leads, suggesting it was his own action, I will not accept that. I'd like to see details. Obviously, he had bought a vehicle filled with explosives. It looks a bit difficult [to say] that he's [working] alone."
