In case you were wondering, if you run over a police officer with your ATV and knock him to the ground, the NYPD will make it their mission to find you—the way they are hunting for this guy.
According to the cops, on July 4th, at around 6:43 p.m., the police responded to a call about "a 911 call of an NYPD officer assaulted" in front of 672 Hunts Point Avenue in the Bronx. Apparently a 44-year-old man, George Fabian, "intentionally struck an on-duty uniformed police officer while he was riding a four wheeled ATV from the rear at a high rate of speed causing the police officer to fall to the ground." George fled while the officer, who suffered lacerations to his arms and trauma, was taken to Jacobi Hospital where he was treated and released.
Police describe George as 220 pounds with brown eyes, with a beard and side burns, last seen seen wearing a red T-shirt.
