Over an inch of rain fell yesterday through this morning, bringing the monthly rainfall total back to almost normal. More rain is possible today, but the storm, which is centered just east of Atlantic City this morning, is weakening, so it's mostly going to be a misty, drizzly, foggy sort of day. This afternoon's high will be in the mid 60s, which is normal for late April.

Tomorrow will be slightly warmer than today with a high in the upper 60s, but much warmer weather will arrive on Friday. The Bermuda High is expected to move northward, pushing Friday's high into the upper 70s and Saturday's into the lower 80s. By Saturday the dew point temperature will be near 60, making it feel like a muggy mid-summer day.

Our taste of summer won't last too long as a cold front will pass through the region on Saturday night. This doesn't look like the strongest of fronts, but with the humid air mass in front of it we could see a few showers or a thunderstorm. Temperatures on Sunday are expected to be in the mid to upper 60s, which is much closer to normal.
