Heartbreaking: The father of a woman killed by a hit-and-run driver in Dyker Heights last month has been regularly traveling from his home in Delaware to Brooklyn to hand out flyers urging witnesses in the neighborhood to come forward. 37-year-old Natalie Assee was killed in a hit-and-run while crossing Fort Hamilton Parkway near 75th Street around 2 a.m. on March 7th. At this point, police have no suspects, but her father, Ulric Assee, has made it his mission to track down his daughter's killer.

"I am getting frustrated and the longer it takes, the angrier I get," Assee tells the Daily News through tears. "What I want is for this person to come to justice. It's very painful for me to do what I am doing. Handing out the flyers is very emotional, but I can't give up on this. She was going to follow her dream and go into fashion and art. She loved life; she loved her friends... She was an outgoing person."

One witness told investigators he saw a white sedan leaving the crash scene, heading toward the Verrazano Bridge. And white paint was found on the dress Natalie was wearing. But that's all police have to go on at this point. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1(800) 577-TIPS. After a survey last year, a group of community activists declared Fort Hamilton Parkway at 75th St. among the worst in the neighborhood. From 1995 to 2005, nine pedestrians were injured and one killed at the intersection, according to Transportation Alternatives.
