A former stripper at the upscale Penthouse Executive Club is suing over a billboard that depicts her as a dancer for Scores, citing "emotional distress." Well yeah, a girl's gotta protect her reputation! Nicole Hughes filed a suit with the Manhattan Supreme Court saying she was forced to take part in a photo shoot for Penthouse in 2008. She was paid only $4 but assured her photos would only be associated with the Penthouse brand. According to the Post, that's not what happened.
The suit states that since November "unauthorized pictures of Ms. Hughes have been displayed on billboard in and around the New York City area under the 'Scores' affiliation," and the "affiliation with the Scores name has damaged her integrity as an adult entertainer." Comparing the websites, it's easy to see why. Though the two clubs are owned by the same person, Penthouse Executive Club's site is filled with images of plush couches and chandeliers. Scores lets you print out a free admission coupon from the website.
Hughes is seeking money damages for "mental anguish, emotional distress, humiliation and loss of reputation," and the $4 Penthouse didn't even pay her for the shoot. Scores has been under fire recently for allegations that former dancers were forced to have sex with patrons and managers.
