It turns out that the man who tried to "save" escort Lindsey DeLeon may not have been such a white knight after all. DeLeon claims that real-estate developer Robert Brot moved her to the city to pimp her out, not to put her through school as he claims in his lawsuit. She told the Post, "He told me, 'I'm going to show you the high life. I'm going to show you how to live.' And he did."
Brot allegedly set DeLeon up in an apartment on the Upper East Side and let her use his company car to meet her "clients." DeLeon provided the Post with e-mails Brot (married at the time) allegedly sent to her, saying he would put up ads on escort websites for her and take her to get cosmetic surgery, but says after a while she wanted to leave, and even got so depressed she tried to kill herself. When she told Brot she wasn't going to marry him, she claims "within an hour, he shut off my bank account and kicked me out of the house."
Brot's representative says he is "sympathetic to Ms. DeLeon's young children, who are clearly the victims here, and as such, he expects to bring this matter to an amicable and speedy resolution for all parties concerned." He still claims that DeLeon used him for money and she owes him $105,380 that he spent to move her to New York and put her through real estate school.
