After a flaccid premiere, the second night ratings for the new Eliot Spitzer-Kathleen Parker CNN talk show, Parker Spitzer, did better. According to Media Decoder, the show "had nowhere to go but up — and up it went. The program, which also had a rough first outing at the hands of critics, showed noticeable ratings improvement on its second night: it averaged 513,000 viewers, up from 454,000 the night before, which is a respectable improvement of 13 percent." Maybe the viewers were there for the sulfurous chemistry or the car crash.
