A singer/songwriter/stalker who for three years obsessed over Law & Order: Criminal Intent star Kathryn Erbe, sending letters to her Brooklyn home and showing up on set, has finally been arrested, reports the Post. Charles Nagel, who uses the stage name Chaz Rose to sing "romantic smooth" songs influenced by Michael Jackson and Johnny Mathis, wrote on his MySpace page—which is mostly devoted Criminal Intent and Erbe—that "melody feeds the soul."

At first, Erbe, who plays a detective in the Major Case Squad, tried to be cool about the "letters of adulation." But when he started sending "letters filled with his passionate prose and hopes of a permanent hookup to the homes of several of her relatives," she went to the police. Gathering email correspondence from the 36-year-old super-fan, detectives were soon able to nab Nagel in Philadelphia on stalking charges. He'll most likely be cut off from contact with the 44-year-old mother of two, and since she's leaving the show later this spring, he'll only be able to see her in syndication.
