When will 2nd Amendment aficionados learn that piece of mind costs $2.25?
A 26-year-old Virginia man was arrested yesterday at the 42nd Street A/C/E subway station after two police officers noticed him walking through the exit gate and skipping the fare. According to an NYPD press release, as officers Mohammed Ahmed and Adam England approached Travis Marks to likely hand him a $100 fine, they noticed him "attempting to discard a plastic bag with a white powdering [sic] substance." And then they found his 9MM Bryco 59 handgun.
Marks was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, theft of service and criminal trespass. No word on whether Marks was close to ripping off a "Do Not Remove" tag from a mattress as well.
