A French bulldog named Lola was lost recently in Queens. Her owner, 24-year-old Liliana Intrabartolo, tells the Post that she hasn't slept or eaten since her dog—who needs surgery and could be going blind—went missing last Friday. It's believed the dog ended up at Metro Puppy on Metropolitan Avenue in Forest Hills, where someone brought the dog in saying it needed a home—an employee then gave her away to two other customers in the store.
No names were taken, the dog's ID microchip wasn't checked and they didn't call Animal Care and Control to find out if the dog was lost. The employee says the dog was only in the store for a total of 3 minutes before they handed it off. If you've spotted Lola, here are details on how to contact her owner.
