Police on Long Island dragged a dentist away from his office in handcuffs on Sunday afternoon after receiving a report that he was drunk on the job. Suffolk County police say Robert B. Garelick, 57, was under the influence of alcohol while performing dental work on a patient in his Lindenhurst office. When cops arrived at the office at 4:30 p.m., Garelick appeared to be intoxicated and was promptly arrested. Apparently Long Island frowns upon Tooth Scaling and Scotch Sundays?
Garelick will be arraigned on January 22nd. It's unclear what impact the dentists' alleged condition had on his patient, but beer goggles no doubt made the person's smile look absholutely shpectacular. And when it comes to creepy dentist behavior, we know from television that there are certainly worse things than a drunk dentist.
