And yet the Yankees have gone and signed a 15-year lease to open a 2,000-square-foot storefront in the Paramount Building at 1501 Broadway. When the store opens in the next few months it will sell not just Yankees merch but also tickets to games. The space the Yanks are taking was most recently a pop-up store for the History Channel.
