The father of a flight attendant who is accused of abandoning 69 lbs of cocaine at LAX alleges that his 31-year-old daughter, Marsha Gay Reynolds, had no idea she was carrying the massive drug stockpile.

"Somebody gave her the bag," the South Jamaica, Queens man told the Post outside of his family home Saturday. Reynolds became visibly nervous when she was pulled aside for a random search at LAX last week. She quickly kicked off her heels and ran out of the airport, leaving behind luggage that contained multiple large bags of cocaine. Reynolds then made it onto a flight to New York City following her escape, but turned herself in to authorities at JFK shortly after landing.

Just before her arrest, Reynolds reportedly spoke with her father. "She broke down, of course," he said. "She said she didn't know what was in [the luggage]."

"I'm not in a good place right now," he added while speaking with the tabloid.

The drugs Reynolds had been carrying reportedly have a street value of $3 million. She was charged with cocaine possession with intent to distribute.

"She was such an ordinary kid," an anonymous friend of the flight attendant told the Post. "I only remember her as the nice, thoughtful, beautiful girl who was going to college, working and keeping in shape." Reynolds was granted a $500,000 bail package Thursday but was ordered to remain in jail until her April 7th arraignment by a California Federal Judge.
