Police are on the hunt for a clever burglar who has been targeting Harlem work sites in order to get access to commercial spaces. In at least 15 incidents since November 11 the NYPD says the bandit has broken holes into walls and rooftops of construction sites in Harlem in order to get access to commercials spaces.

According to the cops, once the burglar gains access to a space he carefully disables the security cameras before taking everything he can carry out. The spree is believed to have begun "in early November when he entered a building on Lenox Ave. through a rear window and another a few doors down through the roof." His last attack is thought to have taken place early on Christmas Eve morning when he entered a East 125th Street building through a side wall.

Police say the suspect is a Hispanic man, 5'8" and 145 pounds. Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
