A man died after being repeatedly stabbed in the stomach in a midtown cafe on Wednesday night, and police are asking the public to help find his suspected killer. The victim reportedly got into a dispute with the murderer in the New Star Cafe, on 7th Avenue between 39th and 40th Streets, around 9:30 p.m. Police were called when witnesses saw the man stumble out in the street bleeding profusely.
The 36-year-old man was later pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital. Last night investigators released a security camera image of the suspect, seen here. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
