In support of teacher Sabrina Milo, who was arrested for making "Columbine-like" threats at Fort Hamilton High School, students planned a walk out for Friday. But the protest never got off the ground, as police officers arrived to guard the exits of the Bay Ridge school. "Look at all the cops. Everyone is scared," one student said.

Milo recently spoke to the press, admitting to making the threats: "I started crying and said, 'if I had a shotgun and a trench coat, it would be Columbine all over again.' I wasn't thinking. It was exercising poor judgment. The door was shut. It was adults. Many times we have gathered together and vented in our own ways." Students have agreed that the threat was probably just a botched joke, and that she always had a strange sense of humor. One previously said, "It probably was an April Fool’s joke gone too far. I doubt she meant any harm."
