Police are searching for a suspect in the attack and groping of a woman on the Upper East Side early on Saturday morning. Cops have identified a man named Gregory Anderson as the alleged groper. They say the victim, 36, was walking along East 94th Street when he grabbed her from behind and threw her to the ground as she crossed Second Avenue.

The Daily News reported that the suspect was waiting outside a building and put "the victim, who was on her way to work, into a chokehold, saying, 'Gimme your money. I’m not gong to hurt you. Shut up. People may be watching. Just walk with me.'" Near Third Avenue, he reportedly "opened her jacket and unzipped her sweatshirt. He fondled her breasts, and her buttocks. Then, he told the victim, 'Have a nice day.'"

The victim fled into a nearby bodega and hid, and though Anderson came in, reportedly asking, "Have you seen my wife?" he was unable to find her.

Cops say Anderson is 32 years old, stands 5-foot-7, and weighs 145 pounds.
