Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man suspected of tying up and beating a 23-year-old woman while robbing a Tribeca office on Monday afternoon.

The suspect, who was caught on surveillance tape, apparently had a knife and forced his way into a 10th floor office. (The NYPD has not disclosed the location of the attack.) While inside, DNAinfo reports, "He then assaulted a 23-year-old woman, tied her up and stole an undetermined amount of cash, a backpack and a laptop computer before fleeing, police said. The victim declined medical attention at the time of the incident, but was later treated for a broken jaw at Flushing Hospital."

The police describe the suspect as in his 50s, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8, weighing 200 pounds, and wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a black knit hat. Anyone with information should contact NYPD CrimeStoppers.
