The NYPD is searching for a young man who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl on a southbound Q train in January, at the Church Avenue station.

The suspect allegedly followed his victim onto the Q train just after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20th, and sat down in the seat next to her. Then, according to the police, he "began to rub her inner thighs with his hand." When the victim exited the train at Brighton Beach, the suspect followed, only to run away as soon as the victim called 911. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, according to investigators.

The suspect has been described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'10" and 160 pounds, with straight black hair and a "thin build." He was last seen in a black leather jacket, black sweatpants with white stripes, and black and white sneakers. Police acquired the above image of the suspect from social media, but investigators have not released his name.
