A Brooklyn man nearly decapitated his wife during a fatal stabbing this morning. Cops told us the incident happened around 11:45 a.m. at E. 102nd Street in Canarsie. They found 51-year-old Hazel Robinson unconscious and unresponsive with "severe injuries to her neck." She was pronounced DOA at the scene.

A 58-year-old man, whom the Daily News identifies as her husband, has been taken into custody. No charges have been filed yet. The identity of the victim hasn't been released, and police say that the investigation is ongoing.
