The man accused of slashing a woman walking on a Manhattan sidewalk has been linked to at least three other attacks on women.

Police believe that Kari Bazemore, 41, attacked a 25-year-old woman last September, smashing her over the head with a bottle while calling her a "white bitch." That attack took place as the victim was walking with a friend on East 174th Street near Walton Avenue in The Bronx on September 29th.

Bazemore was arrested this week after he allegedly slashed Amanda Morris on the face as she was walking on West 23rd Street to her job at the Whole Foods in Chelsea. "I thought that my nose was broken and I was freaking out," Morris told NBC about the attack, which occurred this past Wednesday. "It felt like being hit in the face with a baseball."

Bazemore was charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon for that incident, and he also has now been charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon for attacking a woman on November 11th. Just before noon that day, the 43-year-old victim was walking on 5th Avenue between 55th and 56th Streets when Bazemore allegedly struck her in the face with what police say was "a large plastic containing an unknown blunt object." She sustained injuries to her head and face.

Bazemore, who has 32 prior arrests, was also arrested and charged for punching a 32-year-old woman in Greenwich Village on December 30th. Bazemore was released on bail on December 31st, and police have linked him to the January 1st attack on Nicole Pagliaro, who needed 150 stitches after she was attacked and slashed in the face outside of her apartment building in the Bronx.
