The man suspected of carjacking a man at gunpoint in Staten Island was arrested in the borough—while trying to carjack another person.
Tyrell Brown, 25, was caught while wearing a wig last night, ending a two-day manhunt. He allegedly stole the carjacked Hummer on Sunday and ended up in a shootout with MTA police at the Verrazano Narrows Bridge early Monday. According to the Post's anonymous source, "His passenger was arrested at the scene and told cops Brown was high on Molly." Brown later ditched the car and the police offered a $12,000 reward.
The Staten Island Advance says that Brown will be questioned for two murders on Sunday, "both of which took place within minutes of each other."
